National Day! No Lesson!
Thursday:
In the early morning, after the flag raising or rather the assembly, we went to the "Civil Defense corner" for our lit rehearsal. This is our very first in class rehearsal. So, once we reached there, we sat down and listen to the instruction given. After giving instruction, Mr Chua separate us into our groups and tell us the place that we're going to have our rehearsal. Before we when off for rehearsals, we're told to bring along our foolscap and our pencil case. Those materials are for writing the feedbacks, comments and the things that can be improved. After noting and taking of stuffs, we headed for our rehearsals! Had fun during rehearsal. Our Juliet was absent and Zhixin took over her for that rehearsal. After rehearsing once, Mr Chua came and called us back to assemble as the lesson was ending. We than assemble in front of the corner. Mr Chua picked some people to share their comments. While they were sharing, Mr Chua correct them. After the the sharing of comment, many people was asking how to kiss. So Mr Chua demonstrated it. He called Daryl to be his partner. When Mr Chua "kissed" everyone was laughing. After that, Mr Chua called all directors to stay back and the others was released.
Monday:
Mr Chua came in, greetings as usual. Schedule was tight! Therefore Mr Chua gave us a piece of paper which had article on it. The article was about drugs. The reason for giving us the article was in the scene of AYLT, Elvis was a drug addict and therefore Mr Chua wanted to tell us the importance of not taking drugs. After going through that article, Mr Chua gave us back one of the worksheet on AYLT. I was glad to see that my marks is higher! Than Mr Chua go through the worksheet. After going through the worksheet, Mr Chua showed us our learning log result. I did not get to see my marks as the font size was too small. After showing us the marks, Mr Chua called all those people who did not do or did not complete the learning logs to stand. I was shocked that almost quarter of the people did not do or did not complete it. Than Mr Chua scolded them and lesson ended!
Thursday:
We had great fun in the lesson! Mr Chua when through The Mighty Mandarin. We were splitted into rows to read the different character. Mr Chua got to read 2 character as there as not enough row. We was told to stand while reading. Mr Chua than called the first row to start. When its Mr Chua's turn, everyone will start laughing as Mr Chua was acting a female voice! After going through the whole Mighty Mandarin, Mr Chua gave us a worksheet and a piece of blank paper. The blank paper was for us to draw the setting of The Mighty Mandarin. And our lesson ended.
