On moday literature lesson, Mr chua came into our class very angrily. We don't know what happen until he tell us. So he was angry because quite a number of ppl did not put in effort in the drawing Macbeth. Than after the scolding from him, he started going through the story The Merchant Of Venice. Mr chua split us into groups and each group will read different lines of those characters. After splitting, Mr chua ask the first two rows to read Portia's lines, third and forth row read Shylock's lines, the fifth and sixth row read Antonio's lines, the last row will read Bassanio's line and the rest will be read by him. Soon after that, the story ended. So Mr chua call us to find a patner that have the same character and discuss about the character traits of the character he assign to us. After a while the bell rang. Than Mr chua took out the worksheet that we hand in during the previous lesson and distribute back to us. Than he says those whose drawing is 5 marks and below will stay back and re-draw it until he is happy. I'm lucky that my drawing just pass. After that he says those whose drawing is 5 marks and above can go home. Therefore, we greeted him and the lesson ended.
On friday, we greeted Mr chua once he stepped into the class. After greeting, the lesson started. He called us to take out the Literature booklet. I did not bring. So i stand up and share with my partner beside me. After that he asked the clas to write down wat we think about mercy, what is the definition for mercy. After that he chose some students to read out what they think the definition is for mercy. After that he tell us the real meaning. Than he go through a particular line of portia and hecall us to highlight some sentence and highlight those words we don't understand. And he will tell us the meaning. After going through, there's not much time left, so he ask us to go home and find out how our god show mercy and finish up the worksheet. As soon as Mr chua finish assigning those homework, the bell rang. We greeted him and the lesson ended.

Term 1, Week 3
The third lesson of literature, we got our literature booklets. Mr Chua came in and we greeted him and the lesson soon started. We handed in our two worksheets to him and he then went through the story of merchant of venice in the literature booklet. After done that, we lined up outside our class and went to the corner of the staff room. Shortly after, Mr Chua chose some people to act out the story about merchant of venice. The actors' voices are too soft, so Mr Chua decided to divide us into five groups, and to read out the different lines that each actor got. Our form teacher shortly arrived, and there was not much time left to spare so Mr Chua gave us homework once more and it was to read those characters' lines and write out about those characters. Soon after we greeted him goodbye, we were dismissed and Mr Chua told us to queue up in twos' and walk back to class in a formal way. Lesson 3 of literature then ended.

Term 1, Week 2
The second lesson of literature, Mr Tyrus Chua was not present, and hence a female teacher came into our class to relief. Though I forgot her name, but I could remember how she reacted when she first stepped into our class. A visitor from china was in our class earlier than the relief teacher, and the visitor came to take some photos and that's when our relief teacher came in. She was extremely angry with the class as it was noisy, but soon after, we greeted her and the lesson commenced. She begin by asking if whether or not do we have the literature booklet. We replied that we do not have the literature booklets with us as the literature representative was absent. She then told us what was the booklet mainly about, and one of the stories she told us that was inside the booklet was about macbeth. She then showed us some pictures and initiated us to guess whether those pictures are bad or good witches, but everyone said no. The lesson was ending soon, and she started giving us homework. The homework that she gave us, was to draw a setting of macbeth and submit it to Mr Chua on the next lesson. So then, the lesson hence ended.

Term 1, Week 1
The first day of literature lesson, we did quite a number of things. Firstly, Mr Tyrus Chua gave us each a ice-cream stick to write our names on it and decorate it. Then after that, we returned it back to him, and soon after, he told us that every one is to make a blog online as our learning logs. The learning logs grades will then be printed out on our report cards. After telling us about the learning logs, he then told us each to bring 20 cents on the next lesson to buy the literature booklets for literature. After that, Mr Chua told us to take a piece of foolscap paper out and he taught us how to write a cinquain, and he did an example of a cinquain for us to see. The example started off with 2 Dynamic. Time was almost up so Mr Chua gave us homework. The homework is to write 2 cinquain about our school, Evergreen, and our name and to be submitted on the next lesson. Soon after, the lesson ended smoothly.
